Get Ready For The
Fruitful Season
This morning [1/12/14] as I was studying I smelled the sweet pleasant smell of almonds, kind of like almond flavoring. It lasted about 1 to 2 minutes. Nu. 17:8 came to my mind where Aaron’s rod budded and produced almonds. Almond [H8247] means tree or nut, as being the earliest in bloom and comes from Hebrew word [8245] that means to be alert, ie sleepless, hence be on the lookout whether for good or bad; hasten, remain, wake, or watch for. Lord that’s the watchman’s duties.
Yes child, I’m waking you to see and know it is time to watch and be on the alert for the blooming forth is coming.
The almond tree blooms first but what season does it bloom in? Aaron’s rod had fully developed almonds and that’s harvest, but what was I smelling, the blooms or the fruit?
The fruit child, it’s a fruitful season coming forth and I want My people ready to partake and harvest for themselves the fruitfulness of this rich season. They must lay up for themselves, in their storehouses, all the fruit that shall sustain and take them through the next four years. I have provided enough, more than enough, for each one’s needs and desires. If they will trust Me and lay up in this season of plenty and not be lazy only enjoying the fruit I send in this season, then they shall have an endless supply for the next four years. Not one shall be lacking unless they choose to be.
Father the “Watchman Watchman What of the Night” poem has come to me as You’re giving this to me. And the number four what is that about? And I’m sensing the four years is including this year of plenty. You’ve given this warning and instructions to me now what do I do with it? I’m hearing…
Tell the people, warn the people, prepare the people, that’s your portion, Watchman position, prophet position. Take your stance and speak child.
I believe this is an Issachar word to make the body of Christ aware of the time and season it’s coming into and how important is that they store up His available Word while they can. This prophetic along with the smell of the almonds was to let me know to be alert and on the lookout, to remain awake. Since the almond is the earliest blooming fruit tree I believe it’s an early warning to be prepared.
Four-door, opening, entry, pathway, and means material creation, the earth. There’s an open door of harvest in the earth now available for all who will sow into it but it’s more than for just this season, it’s enough to sustain us for 4 years if we will lay up the abundance in our storehouses and not waste it or neglect it. I sense each one will be responsible to store up for themselves.
Jer. 1:11-12 “Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, I see a branch or shoot of an almond tree [the emblem of alertness and activity, blossoming in late winter]. Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.” Easton Bible Dictionary says “I see a rod of an almond tree [shaked]….for I will hasten [shaked] My Word to perform it.” The Word is used as an emblem of promptitude [the quality or habit of arriving or being ready on time; promptness, punctuality.
Clark Commentary says a rod of an almond—shaked from shakad, to be ready, to hasten, to watch for an opportunity to do a thing, to awaken; because the almond tree is the first to flower and bring forth fruit. One site I read said the almond tree and its blooms are the “harbinger of spring”.
Our hearts are our storehouses/treasure-houses [Matt. 6:21, Luke 12:34], what we store, hid, in there shows what we value [Matt. 12:35; Luke 6:45]. The fruit is the Word and revelation of the Word. We will be able to hide it in our hearts while it is abundant and easy to obtain in this season of plenty. That’s what will sustain us when famine times come. Amos 8:11-12 says there will be a time of famine of the Word on the earth. It’s the Word [fruit] we’ve hid in our hearts while it is abundant and easy to obtain that will sustain us when the hard times come. Our heart show where our treasures are stored [Matt. 6:19-21; Luke 12:34]. The knowledge of God, the Godhead, is to be our in storehouses where nothing can take it from us. Even our seed for planting new crops is store in there [Matt. 12:35, Luke 6:45].
In the old Testament many things were stored in the storehouse; oil, fruit, armor, the ingather harvest from the fields, and even royal documents. Ezra 5:17 EXB says Cyrus royal decree to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem was in the storehouse. The Bible is God’s record of His Word. I also believe this is the time God wants to rebuild His Church, His people into the Temple He longs to dwell in. I see this as another major step to preparing for Christ’s return.
We are to be watching and active and working, lying up in our storehouses all the Lord is providing us with during this fruitful season so we will be ready when He returns. We are to hasten His Word so it performs what it was sent to do by calling it forth as though it already exists.
The Lampstand seven bowls were shaped like almonds blossom. I don’t think that’s a coincidence. These bowls are filled with oil and burn night and day and represent the 7 fold ministry of the Holy Spirit in Isa. 11:2-3. The Holy Spirit will also make us “of quick understanding” I believe if we sow into this fruit season. Zech. 4:2-14 God’s temple is fixing to hasten forth by the power of the Holy Spirit. And like Joshua and Zachariah we have to become fruit bearing trees that produce the oil to keep God’s Lampstand burning. I personally see this season is a season of the Word bearing fruit in God’s people by the illumination of the Holy Spirit. Not by our power or our might but by the Holy Spirit. And if we’ll lay it up in our storehouses, we’ll never be without light and direction. And like the two olives trees had a continuous supply of oil coming from them so the light never went out, so will we be.
