Go Into Peace and Be Continually Healed and Set Free
New day, new way, let’s start building this day Father. You lead and I’ll follow. I love the definition of child in Matt. 18:4 “…little child [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving]…” Child is what You always call me and it use to make me question if I was still so childish and hadn’t grown very much. But since finding this in Matt. 18:4 I’m very content to be called child, especially if it means I’m ‘trusting, loving, lowly, and forgiving’.
Trust Me to always have your good foremost in My mind. When I deal with you, you are never far from My heart. Rest safe and secure in the knowledge I have you child and I shall keep you safe and secure close to Me.
Lord that’s where You had me the other day in such a place of peace and rest. Ex. 14:14 says “The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.” According to 2 Chr. 14:7; 15:15 You gives rest and peace to those who seek You with all their hearts, yearning for You with all their desire. Jer. 33:6 You lay upon us health and healing, You cure us and reveal to us abundance of peace [prosperity, security, stability] and truth. Peace is called security here and my security is wrapped up in being close to You! Mark 5:34 Amp. says a strange thing, it says “..go in (into) peace and be continually healed and freed..” So if I enter into peace I’m entering into healing and freedom, a continual flow of both?
Yes child, My healing isn’t freely given just so you can go on living in tormenting sin and unrest. What quality of life would that be? None child.
True, I’d rather have peace and sickness than health and no peace. So You’re saying if I enter into peace I’m also entering into a continual flow of health and freedom.
Phil. 4:7 just came to me, “And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
In both Mark 5:34 and Phil. 4:7 the word peace comes from the verb to join, by implication prosperity, quietness, rest, and set at one again. I so love Your peace. Father it quiets me and still every dissenting voice, every thought melts away in Your peace. When I’m joined to You, my Prince of Peace, I’m set at one again, I’m brought into wholeness. That’s what You’re showing me ‘set at one’ means, it means wholeness. I Thes. 5:23 “And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).”
My God of Peace, in joining me to Himself, has set me apart from unrest, turmoil, and all torments to my spirit, soul, and body. I Thes. 5:23 KJV says “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Wholly means complete to the end, absolutely perfect. Whole means complete in every part, perfectly sound in body, entire. Both of these come from the Greek word meaning whole or all, i.e. complete.
As He is my God of Peace I’m brought into complete wholeness body, soul, spirit. Every particle of my being is receiving His healing peace! No wonder You have me speak ‘peace’ so often when I’m praying for people. I’m speaking much more than I ever knew.
Isa. 9:6-7 “…Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end…” There is no end to His peace, it’s ever increasing in those who seek Him, who want Him as their Ruler, Prince of Peace. Rom. 14:17 says the kingdom of God is ‘righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.’
