The Journey
In March of 2000 God began a new work in me. I was saved in April 1973 but this was something different, a cleansing and yielding process He was taking me through. It was a deeper and closer walk with Him than I had experienced before. The scripture He gave me that year was Isa. 50: 4-5 "The Lord God has given me the tongue of the
learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary.
He awakens me morning by morning, He awakens my ear to hear as the learned.
The Lord God has opened my ear and I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away." God called me to a deeper commitment to pray and seek His face. His Word, which has always held a high place of honor in my life, became life and breath to me. My prayer time became very precious to me. He began to teach me obedience in many different ways. By October 2000 God had made it possible for me to retire. He let me know it was so I would have the time to seek Him more. I have journaled for years but now it was different. He began speaking to me concerning many things. As He spoke I wrote it all down, inserting my responses or questions. I never dreamed He would ask me to share them with anyone. When He told me to start sharing them with my Pastor and then others, it was very hard but He has been there leading me step by step. Then He spoke to me to create a web page and call it 'godwhispers'. It would be a place to share with whosoever what He speaks to me. You see, it isn't just for me. What He tells me is for His body, His people, to encourage, lift up, correct, warn, and prepare them. You
will find mistakes in spelling and grammar if you look for them. But the only purpose for this web site is to glorify God and encourage His people to seek Him. That He is there waiting and longing to have a personal relationship with His children. I pray that you find Him and He finds you and you hear Him speak to you. God Bless You on your journey!
